Pregnant with sweet baby Aiden

I would love to say this pregnancy was wonderful and beautiful and although a lot of days were, most days were very painful. I had Braxton hicks most of the second and third trimester and everything seemed to hurt from pretty early on. Sitting, standing, walking, sleeping. It all hurt. No matter how much pain I was in I still enjoyed the little things. Feeling him move, his hiccups, thinking about what he was going to look like and daydream about holding and kissing him, reading him stories. The love I had for him in my belly was strong and I couldn't wait to meet him. 

The third trimester was filled with much anxiety on delivery. Ty and Embers birth was hard on us all. Very long extended stays in the hospital, much blood loss, blood transfusions....there was so much fear that history would repeat itself. I had to work hard at relaxing and keeping calm. His birth came and well that's a story for another post ❤️

Christmas Eve

We had such a wonderful Christmas. Words can't express how full my heart is. 

On Christmas Eve-eve we went to see Santa but he was super busy so the 

sweetest Mrs. Claus talked with the kids, read them a story and promised them

Santa would be there Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve came and Santa showed up! He read them another book and brought

them each a present. 

It was so magical.

Ember at three

My sweet Ember turned three on August 23

My little girl. My sweet angel.

 At three you are my princess, its all things girly with you! We could listen to Princess songs on repeat all day. Every time its just you and I that leave the house we have to say "girls day" in our high pitched excited voices. We love to lay in bed and tell jokes. You are always requesting me to tickle you. We love our sweets, your pretty good at sharing with me when I ask. I have to hide my diet coke from you because you oddly love it as much as I do. You have to have a fresh coat of nail polish on Sunday mornings and if we forget you usually have a melt down in church. Your favorite foods still consist of cereal, chicken nuggets and fruit snacks. You give the best hugs and you melt my heart every day.

I love you more than I could every know how to write in words. I am so proud to be your mommy.

Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken a few months ago by a very good family friend. We usually have horrible experiences trying to take family pictures but these were so wonderful. The kids knew the photographer, it was fun and fast. The pictures turned out stunning... I love them. Thank you Will, or "Marshalls Daddy" As the kids always say. 

 

One year later

 

One year later and I think I will dust off the old blog and get back to it. I thought about completely catching up the whole year but that just sounds exhausting. I am just going to photo bomb for the first few posts and then hopefully get back up to date.
