Cardstore plus Embers birthday is coming up!!

Embers first birthday is coming up and I wanted to make a sweet little card for her. Something I can put in her scrapbook! Simple and sweet was what I was looking for. Cardstore contacted me about doing a review so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to make her card.

I loved it. You can chose through their options of premades or create your own. Adding all your own pictures and text.

I loved the hearts on the baby announcement and thought I would just change the text to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

After picking my own photo, words, font and color the site verified and spell checked everything. Then asked if I would like to ship it to myself or to my recipient. Awesome. The price of my card was only 2.49 - totally affordable and adorable.

I absolutely loved Cardstore. The layout of the site, customer service, options and reliability is amazing. I was offered this card in exchange for the review but plan on using this site again and again for my personalized cards. I think it will be the sweetest way to send a birthday wish, thinking of you or any announcements.

Let's Go to the Farm - What we're reading -

Ty has shown an interest in books.  Running over to the shelf and pulling them all off then running back to me with three in hand wanting to flip through them. Sometimes he want to look at each page carefully and study the pictures while other times he wants to flip through all the pages as fast as he can so he can get another book. Ty is also a snuggler. He loves to sit on my lap while I read to him for what seams like hours.

Lately I catch him taking his own interest in books with out me. I will find him laying on the floor flipping through them all on his own. His favorites have been these farm books given to him by his Grandma Whetman. He likes to study the tractors on the pages. I hear him talking to himself saying "this one Heather drives, this one Papa, this one Justin, this one Wade." I think its safe to say he misses the tractors.

The other book is a flap book. Those are the best! Not when I want to sit down and read to him because he is too interested in the flaps but for his own entertainment. He can lay down and flip them up and down for an hour just so curious about each one.

I also catch Ty reading to himself. It sounds something like this "yooooweee yoweee yoweeee, ummm yoweee yoweee"

Too dang cute for me to handle.

Most of our reading is done early morning in our pajamas or before bed in our pajamas.

I love that these books can bring a little bit of my family to life. I love that Ty remembers the farm when looking at the pictures. Riding the tractors, feeding the goats, the horses, hay and trucks.

There is not much sweeter than a child and their books.

Tell Me Tuesday

Hey there. Sorry for my absence last week. I don't need to tell any of you that life happens.
Sometimes its OK, well in my mind its always OK for life to come before your blog.
Friends, family and in last weeks case babies. My babies came before Tell me Tuesday.
One needed some extra snuggles and mommy love. I was not prepared with a scheduled post.
The though crossed my mind...
"O my goodness...I FORGOT TELL ME TUESDAY"
It was close to midnight and I could have sat my baby down and pounded it out on the
computer. Instead I held on tight and thought... This is where I need to be:)

So thank you for coming back and still being a part of the party.
