loves

Ember is rolling belly to back and now back to belly.
I was shocked when I laid her on her back, went to the bathroom and
came back to find her on her belly!!!
So exciting.
too fast though.

I find myself sometimes thinking I wish she was newborn again and that she is growing to fast.
I often think that about Ty as well...Wishing he was as tiny as Ember.

I told Jayson that we need to slow them down...
he giggled and said..but if Ty were a newborn we wouldn't have Ember
and if Ember were a newborn she wouldn't smile at us like she does.

OK, Ill let them grow up. but im soaking in every snuggle, every smile, ever hug and kiss, every roll.
All the chubby cheeks, and tiny hands, little sneezes and baby hiccups.

They are my treasures. I will hold it all in. Take as many pictures and write as many memories as I can.
Ty is talking a lot more now.
and he is saying some pretty funny things.

He calls eggos "wawas"
His binki "gungu"
Toilet is either "ewies or pee pee"
chocolate chip is "lolo"
fruit snacks he makes a chewing noise

Jayson "Ty did you sleep good?"
Ty "Yea"
Jayson "What did you dream about?"
Ty "milk"
Jayson "was it chocolate?"
Ty "Yea"

So not the longest conversation...
but it was hilarious listening to this while all four of us lay in bed waking up early in the morning.
I laid there thinking man...he understands everything we say.
If I ask him to get something he knows exactly what it is and where to find it.

just so fast...
and so precious.

her ears pierced.

This was a very hard decision for me to make. I went back and forth for days. I think baby girls are so beautiful with out their ears pierced. They don't need any extra beauty. I didn't do it for Ember to be more beautiful. I think she is the most precious thing on this earth.

I was afraid of it hurting her. I was afraid that she would grow up and wish I hadn't done it. I was afraid of her being mad at me. After talking to our pediatrician (who by the way pierced them for her)...He reassured me that the pain of getting it done would be far less then the pain of receiving her shots. Made sense to me. I have had mine done, and had many shots....I would rather get my ears pierced any day. Also if she grows up and doesn't want them anymore she can take them out...

I think Ember is precious. She melts me to the core. I cant imagine ever hurting her.

After a few tears from me I held my baby girl tight against my chest and watched as her pediatricians pierced her tiny little ears. Just as any other baby would, she cried. She was scared. I turned her around and held her close. Calming her down was easy. She looked into my eyes and finally gave me a smile.

It was not the experience I was dreading.
It was perfect.

Mrs. January..

There is this blog. Its called with a touch of pretty. It's written by this girl. Cate.
She is fantastic.
I seriously leave her blog inspired every time. She writes a post every month on her weight loss journey.
Its sweet, fun and motivational.
 Lets get started shall we.
I am not looking to shed a ton of weight. That is not my goal.
All I want is to lose my baby weight. But when you gain 50lbs during your pregnancy its rough.
Yes, Mrs. January is happy.
No, she doesn't fit into her regular pants.
My goal for Mrs. January is to be healthy. Eat clean. Drink water. and be a happy healthy girl.
Exercise...yes, if you follow along you know I LOVE to work out.
I love to do cardio yes, but I LOVE to lift weights. Is that so weird???
However, I haven't lifted since before Ember was born. So im kinda a sissy pants again.
back to square one.
Gotta start somewhere though right.
Can I stay Motivated?  Can I do the work??!

Hopefully by the time Mrs. February rolls around she might break the 130's plateau.
That is THREE pounds.
lets see what she brings...

CURRENTLY

Currently I am.
MISSING Christmas.
THINKING about what type of New years goals I will be making. I know I am a bit late.
 CONSIDERING re-joining Golds gym
PLAYING Skipbo with the hubs last night.
(he won, I was sad)

Currently Ty is
MISSING Christmas lights. I forgot to post about his OBSESSION with the lights.
It was SO cute. His whole face would light up and he would scream "ON ON" when he would see
anything around the house that had lights. He also LOVES driving around and looking at lights.
I will never forget this Christmas and Tys sincere love for all lights.
THINKING about his new toys. Mostly his new tractor and the fun buttons that make noises.
 PLAYING with his cousins.

Currently Ember is
MISSING all the family visiting and being held every second of the day.
MOVING ROLLING everywhere..and playing with her hands. She has discovered that she can GRAB things.
PLAYING with her brother who can not stop hugging and kissing her.
and snuggling with her new doll Polly.

Family pictures

My little family.
I don't always know how to express how I love them.
How I could ever possibly write in words.
But I do.
...and I just have to hope that even though I am not the best writer.
even though I can't always make things come out the way they are in my head.
That if I show them I love them everyday, and do the little things....
I hope they will just know.
My lover and me. My very best friend. The one person who I can tell anything to. The one who has stolen my heart.
My little man. Could he be any cuter?? He is the sweetest boy, my pal.
My darling daughter. The one whose eyes and smile could make you melt. I love her so much.
