anyways....the last few weeks have been a crazy blurr of snuggles...poopy bums, feedings and naps whenever possible...

Gettin the hang of things

Well, Its been two and a half weeks since

 we added one more to our family.

I think I am getting the hang of it.

Nap time use to mean craft or blogging time. 

Now this is what it looks like. 

Usually Ty and Ember passed out on my lap.

I haven't had the heart to move them...

I love their snuggles and when they are at the same time...

its so precious. 

 

Ty is still doing really good with Ember.

For the most part he is really soft with her.

He does give some rough hugs and I have to remind

him that its a baby.

 

I snap as many pictures as I can. 

 

...Jayson HATES pictures. I usually have to sneak them.

But its so cute it was worth him rolling his eyes at me. 

 

 Mom came up twice...

For a week right when Ember got here!

 I don't think I could have 

done it with out her.

I cried on and off the whole night after she left us

the first time. 

but my baby sister is here.

 I'm pretty blessed she is so amazing.

She defiantly is a huge help.

and I love her tons.

Mothering two

I worried and worried over how Ty would react to Ember.

I thought I wouldn't be able to give them both the attention they deserve. 

Thinking Ty would feel neglected. 

I had awful nightmares about them both needing me at the same time and I couldn't be there.

However, Ty fell as much in love with his baby sister as Jayson and I did.

He still needs just as much attention, if not more. 

But he is always worried and concerned about "baybee"

If she is crying he will do one of two things.
At first he would grab her binki and try to get her to take it.
-actually nice for me-
But the last two days if she cries he come over to me and tries to pull my shirt up so I can feed her.

I get overwhelmed.
I have had a few emotional breakdowns.
I don't know how to find time for myself yet.  -hot shower, makeup-
I still worry about everything.

But being a mommy is not about being perfect.

My mother said
"Your dishes wont rot and neither will your kids, so if they don't get washes every single day..it will be ok."

-hope I got that right-

One week birthday.

Embers first week has been amazing. 
She is so sweet and precious.

At one week Ember is:

 

Eating great.

Can stay awake for an hour at a time.

Poops constantly. 

Sleeps the rest of the time.
