Summer nights
Summer nights can't get any better. Jake and Savannah have had us all over to the house almost every night this week. Working in the garden, planting grass and enjoying the fire pit. Last night we made hobo dinners and enjoyed some ice cream after. Ty actually ate his dinner and loved that it came out of the fire pit. Both he and M loved the drumsticks Nana brought over. I ate 99% of mine then gave the rest to M just to suck on. When we took it away to clean her off it broke her heart completely. I have never seen her cry so hard as when we take the sweets away.
I love that summer nights can be 8:30 and still bright outside. It makes it harder to get the kids to bed at a good hour but when we do settle down they fall right to sleep. All it look last night was bath time, teeth brush, prayers and Ty crawled into his own bed and said "ni night" I kept thinking he was going to get up and come get in bed with us or need us to go sit by him but ten minutes later he was snoring.
Long days full of lots of play and sun is just what bed time needs.

Crazy and Cranky
Don't let that cutie fool you. She is cutting three teeth right now and is anything but happy. My poor baby is so sad and I know in major pain. Causing some massive cranky behavior. Luckily she calms down when being snuggled.
I have found that the teething gel doesn't do much good for her but the tablets work wonders.
I can't find the tablets at Walmart anymore. Only at Target. Stinks that Walmart is two minutes from my house and Target is an hour. Guess I will buy in bulk or online shop.
Putting M in the grass this time around she was not quite sure if she liked it. She didn't cry but kept giving me this weird look like "um, pick me up now"
Did I mention that Nana W, Jess, the kids and I went to St. George the other day...Nana got Miss M this cute new outfit. She looks so darling. We also went to surprise the kids Great Grandpa and the Pizza Factory. He has a standing table there once a week at the same time. We walk in and they direct us to his spot. He was over at the salad bar so we sat down. When he was walking back the look on his face when he spotted us was priceless. He was so excited for the company, as were we.
Ty was not shy at all. Went and gave him a big hug and M gave a big cheesy smile.
M loves the camera. "Work it girl!"
M's outfit - Target
Ty also got this new outfit. Blue shorts with a yellow tractor shirt. Nana W held a few choices for him to look at and when he saw the one with a tractor he had to have it.
Thanks Nana W for spoiling the kiddos with new outfits, lunch at the PF, lots of chocolate, the car stroller at the mall and plenty of kisses.
Of course Ty doesn't look at me while taking pictures. Just runs away laughing at me.
He loves to sag his shorts down so you can see four inches of his diaper. Did I mention Ty is also now calling his little man part a "peanut". I really don't like when moms make up fake names for body parts.
On the other hand when we go to change his diaper and we take it off he says "hide peanut". It makes me laugh so hard.
The only time I don't laugh is when he is walking around the house and decides to pull it out and show everybody saying "look, peanut"......ahhh crazy kid.
He is also testing my patience. A whole new meaning to temper tantrums have come this week. He is just so independent. I can't help him do anything. If we need to run out of he house real fast and I need to put his shoes on he insists on doing it himself. "TY DO IT"
If I even try he will take them off and throw then across the room and the tantrum begins.
I also can't pour his cereal, brush his hair, pick out his clothes, pull up his covers or do anything of the sort.
Boots - Cal Ranch
Outfit - Target
This crazy kid insists on wearing his boots with EVERYTHING. Pants, shorts, swimsuits and church clothes. He loves them so much but can't seem to get them on the right feet. BUT o if I try to fix them....that's a whole new kind of crazy.
Good thing he is so darling. Good thing he wraps his arms around me and whispers "love you mama", good thing he is repeating the prayers and melting my heart, good thing he smiles with chocolate all over his face and wipes it on my shorts. Its a good thing he is mine and I love him with all my heart.
Its a good thing that even though my kids are crazy and cranky I love them. They are mine and I wouldn't change them for the world. The fact is the melt my heart more then they drive me nuts. Its a good thing I can take a deep breath at the end of the day and watch them sleep peacefully.
That I remember how much I love them with every breath they take. That I remember how blessed I am to be able to call myself their mama.

9 months baby girl
Ember is really hitting new milestones fast. She is army crawling around the house. She can move from a crawl to sitting up by herself. She can move around at intense speeds. One minute she is by my feet and the next she can be in the other room.
Miss Ember still has never taken a bottle. She gets drinks through out the day in a big girl cup just like mommy and daddys. Each morning I get up and mix up 24 oz of formula and just make sure she drinks it all by the end of the day. She eats three big meals a day when we sit down as a family. Usually rice cereal mixed with a fruit/veggie and a meat.
She loves Graham crackers, cheerios, bananas and baby puffs.
She wakes up each morning smiling and playing in her crib. I often wonder how long she has been awake with out me knowing.
She cut her first tooth. You can see it popping out of the gums if your really looking up close. I have stuck my finger in there to feel a few times and I don't think I will be doing that anymore. Ouch.... Those little teeth are sharp.
She is now saying mama and dada.
She said mama first but as soon as she learned dada she stopped saying mama for a few weeks.
She sleeps all night. I honestly don't remember the last time I woke up in the night with her. She also takes multiple naps through the day. I have to say we are pretty lucky with her sleep schedule.
Ember is always melting my heart. Every time she looks up at me with her big blue eyes I just melt.
10 reasons I love my lover
Topic of the day: 10 Little Things that Made you Fall in Love with your Husband
1. So I am not going to lie...One of the first things I fell in love with about Jayson was his shoulder muscles. We were set up on a blind date so I didn't have much expectations going in to it....when he stepped out of his car I about died. He looked like he had football pads on...yum! I knew I loved those shoulders.
2. Then he opened his mouth...everything that came out I soaked up. He was so kind, funny, smart. I loved listening to him talk and how easily our conversations would flow. We could and still can sit and talk (just talk) for hours.
3. His testimony. O man it shines out of him so bright. He is such a strong follower of Christ. He truly inspires me to be a better person.
4. The love and respect he has for his family. Very early on when I was first coming around his family I truly loved listening to him talk to his parents. So much respect for them. I knew if he talked to me as kindly as his mother I would be in good hands.
5. Surprises. I love surprises. They don't have to be gifts, just things that are out of the ordinary. They make my heart skip a beat. Jayson would surprise me at work and take me to lunch. He also leaves me little love letters around the house. Or surprises me with a diet coke if he knows I am having a rough day.
6. I fell even more in love with him while we were delivering Ty. He knew what to say and how to act. Never left my side and always telling me how proud he was of me. I never could have done it with out him. The look on his face when he saw Ty and became a dad. Made me fall madly in love with him.
7. The way he writes the grocery list....Seriously makes me laugh every time. To stand around and talk with his family is sometimes painful I can laugh so hard. The way they tell stories and add sound effects may make me pee a little.
8. The fact that we both could sit down and fall asleep to Bob Ross. The best and most relaxing show in the world. Someday we will own a Bob Ross painting... Someday.
9. When he gets mad or irritated with me....For example he just cleaned out the inside of the car not even a week ago and already there is clothes, water bottles, gum wrappers, sunglasses, lip gloss and a few other things on the floor, seat and cup holders. . He doesn't get mad or yell just shakes his head and says "O I love you so much"
10. The special voice he has...The one I have only heard when he is talking to Ember. The way he tickles her nose with his and tells her he loves her. Melts my heart and reminds me why I fell in love with him.
11. I fall in love with him more every day. I love the way we are growing together. The way we are taking on each others attributes. We are becoming better people together. Strengthening each other in our weaknesses and complementing each other in our strengths.
