That's RIGHT! Well actually by the time I got around to doing this post I am now 20 weeks!
Baby is about half way cooked in my oven..and YES...it's A GIRL!!
When I married into Jayson's family and we soon had Ty I thought I would be the mom with five rowdie boys running around...all playing sports.
When we went in for our 18 week ultrasound the tech said "IT'S DEFINITELY NOT A BOY." I was in shock!! I made her show me different angels and how she knew it was a girl. I was so excited with the news I started crying in the chair!
We left and I went to buy her something. (We have NO girl anything) I wanted something in the house pink for her. I ended up getting a few cute onesies with a skirt and some pink baskets for her room.
LATER that day my doctor calls...(Me still being on cloud 9 at this point) and he says "We need you to go down to St. George and see a specialist, something may be wrong with one of her kidneys." I started to panic with my mind running in a million different directions. I thought about my sweet little baby and the possibility of something being wrong.
We went in to the ultrasound on Thursday and our new appointment to see the specialist was not tell Tuesday. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that weekend.
We went down Tuesday and the specialist looked and looked, NOT finding anything wrong with her kidneys:) He assured us we had one healthy little baby, and the original picture they had of her kidney was dark and blurry.
HUGE relief, I'm pretty sure I cried in that appointment as well.
I feel so blessed. I know my Heavenly Father is looking after me and my family. I thank him every day that my babies...Ty and baby girl, are healthy. I can't wait to be a mommy again and am so happy to have a boy, and a girl coming soon. Ty is my whole world and I know I will love baby girl just as much! I can't wait to hold her in my arms and watch her grow!
