Hey ladies if you are new here and
want to know more about MMM go HERE!!!
good idea...
such a good idea to keep your meal in the right proportion.
Something yummy/healthy
yummmm...fresh fruit with granola on top!!
yes, I would eat this any time of day.
said it good

smart words...
strong is the new skinny is my favorite!
That has always been something I like and tried to gear more
toward when doing MMM.
motivation for me

this is so going to be me...
I'm totally investing in a summer pass
to our aquatic center!!
-best safe fitness for the preggers-

I'm still staying positive even though I can't exercise like I was before I was pregnant. I am really looking forward to my next doc. appointment to see if I get the go ahead to do any physical activity:)

Food has really been making me sick lately. I feel like everything gives me a really bad stomach ache. My only relief is to eat a LITTLE bit every hour or so. Eating out/greasy foods/desserts...don't sound or look appealing at all. I am living on cheerios and PB&J sandwiches...Thank goodness for my prenatal vitamin or I would SO not be getting the nutrients I need for my little baby.

Thanks for helping me stay motivated!!

HI Ladies!!

for my reasoning!

Ty william at 15 months!

my little 15month old.
TY can not stop eating bananas.
Seriously he eats three a day...he is our little monkey.

He still holds my hand whenever he walks by me!
He loves to blow raspberries on my skin.
He has four top teeth and three bottom.

Back to two naps a day at
11:00 and 3:00.
Sleeps through the night in his BIG BOY BED!

Loves to sit in the drivers seat.
Loves to drink out of a water bottle.

da da da da
uht oh

Wont watch any shows...he is just to busy.
loves to play with his blocks.
loves to color (scribble)
HATES his nose wiped.

My favorite thing is still holding him while he sleeps...I love looking at how peaceful he can be and wonder what he is dreaming about.

I also love how happy he is in the mornings. He wakes up smiling
and just wants to play!! Now that he is in his big boy bed he wakes up and comes over to my side of the bed with a big smile...I'm usually still tired so I pull him up in bed with me and he laughs and tries to play with me tell I get the energy to play back!! I can't imagine waking up any other way!!

Hey ladies if you are new here and want to know more about MMM go HERE!!!

First off let me say sorry for being MIA this last week.
I didn't do MMM or Tell me Tuesday last week.

If you want to know where I disappeared to go  HERE.

If you read that post you will know that I have been told to stay off my feet now..
due to some difficulties in my pregnancy.

My baby is definitely my #1 priority.. SO doctors orders are taken seriously.

HOW will this effect MMM?
well I probably wont be sharing with you the exercises I had done through out the week.
because I will not be attending the gym, doing work out videos, going running....

BUT I can still share with you healthy foods I find....or exercises I see that I will be doing when I get the Ok from my doc.

So today I  want to share with you the BEST way to eat apples!!
This idea was found HERE
Cored and sliced apples with peanut butter, chopped pecans, oats, and chocolate chips.

ahhhs so good!! we eat these a lot at my house...although mine are not this pretty...but they still taste AMAZING!!

STAY MOTIVATED no matter what.

I disappeared, but now I'm back!

This last week was an emotional roller coaster. The beginning of the week started with Ty having a fever of 103...I took him to the doctor and they said he had another virus.. We took him home and he just laid on me for three days..just snuggled and slept. I'm sure part to do with all the medicine we were giving him.

Then Wednesday night we went to bed and I thought all was fine. I woke up in the middle of the night with terrible pains in my lower back and stomach. I couldn't move with the amount of pain. I tried laying on my sides, back, then I would walk around. Nothing helped I was BAWLING. Jayson didn't know what to do...He couldn't sleep through all the commotion I was making. I found the most comfort in laying down on my side while Jayson massaged my lower back..

I was positive I was having contractions. The pain was coming and leaving like I remembered and I couldn't breath like I remembered. I finally was able to fall asleep after HOURS of pain and tears.. Only to wake up to more cramping. I went to my OB that morning. I knew something was just not right. When I got in they did an ultrasound and a physical exam...My doctor said the baby looked fine with a good strong heart beat.

But he put me on a prescription to prevent a miscarriage and ordered me to stay off my feet. Anyone with a toddler knows this is no small request. Its not like my sweet little Ty can get his own food and change his own diaper.

So my sweet mother and father came up to check on me...Its safe to say the whole day was full of tears...hearing the words possible miscarriage will shake any pregnant woman up. My little sister and parents really were what got me through the tears that day. Jayson had a full schedule the next few days and couldn't be around much. So Ty and I packed our bags to stay with my parents for a few days...

I was at my parents for two days then Jayson came down and met us there. It was so good to see his face. I missed him so much. The next day after he arrived I went to the bathroom and noticed some spotting. So I freaked out again and we packed our bags to go home. I went to my doctor again the next morning. He just checked the baby and reassured me that the baby looks healthy. Keeping me on my prescription and still recommending me to stay off my feet as much as possible.

Since then I haven't had anymore spotting thank goodness and the cramping has gone down. I am still being careful...but have to stay off my feet when I can. I look forward to my next doctors appointment. I'm only 18 weeks... so not far along enough to feel kicks. So any chance I get to hear the heart beat is amazing!!

As for my little Ty...he is feeling better! No more fever and he is running around with lots of energy! His smiling face defiantly brings more happiness to me. :)

Thanks for your sweet e-mails wondering where I had disappeared to. I will keep posted better on the progress of me and the baby!!

Welcome to MMM
to learn more about it go HERE...

Like I said in the last mmm
now that im prego most of my Monday posts
will be relating to fitness while pregnant!

Last week I brought up the fact that pregnancy is not an excuse to not work out, but more of an excuse to work out because it will be better for you and your baby. I have been doing really well...now that the weather is getting better and Ty and I can go outside..walk around and get fresh air....I definitely feel better!

One of the exercises doctors recommend to pregnant woman is Aerobics

These exercises are rhythmic and repetitive while being strenuous enough to demand an increase in oxygen to the muscles. All of these exercises will improve circulation...Decreasing your chances of getting varicose veins, hemorrhoids and fluid retention all common in pregnancy. Reduce back ache...Helping you carry around the extra weight...and build endurance that will come in handy while in delivery.

Have you heard the saying "I'm eating for two"?

WELL its one of the most widely held myths about pregnancy.
Actually women should increase their caloric intake by 10 percent.
you're really eating for 1.1.
During your first trimester you only need to be eating
100 extra calories a day. Second about 250 and third 300.
So eating that extra bowl of pasta is because you want it....not because the baby needs it..although sometimes when pregnant you REALLY want it!! hehe and thats ok!:)

I'm definitely not perfect in this area..I know the facts...or at least what the books tell me... about how much weight I should gain and how many extra calories I should be eating...but sometimes when you can't fit your butt into any pants you own...sometimes a cupcake is nice!!
I would love to hear anything relating to fitness on this link up!!
