Angel baby

I really do feel like Ty is such an angel. I love him so much and enjoy every minute of being a mommy. I love to give little man baths and watch him kick his feet and splash water all over me. I love taking him to the store...he smiles and giggles at everyone who looks at him. Or by the time we get five minutes into shopping he is zonked out snoring so loud that the people on opposite aisles can hear him! I love rocking him to sleep...watching his eyes get droopier and droopier fighting it as long as he can tell eventually he can't keep them open any longer. I love watching him roll across the room and trying so hard to army crawl to whatever he has his eyes on....seriously not giving up tell he reaches it. I love watching him discover new things..like the grass, how interested he can be in it. I love how I can't give him any toys, because he looses interest in two minutes but if I give him a kitchen appliance (big cooking spoon, measuring cups, big plastic drinking cups) he will be entertained for thirty minutes. Most of all I LOVE Ty's smile. It melts my heart every day...and I am so thankful for the opportunity I have to be his mommy.

I even love my little angel when he makes not so little messes. I seriously change Ty's bum so often I think we go through a big box of diapers a week..The diapers we are using don't do the trick. He really goes potty a lot during the night, and because he sleeps clear through the night (10pm to 9am) this can make for a lot of pee. When he wakes up in the morning he is usually wet and sticky. Resulting in a bath everyday...and often times poop blow outs during the day. This particular incident in the picture the poop didn't even get on the onesie or jumper...seriously seeping right down the leg.  SO maybe I wont cheap out and get him more expensive diapers that will equal probably the amount I'm spending now...hopefully not having to change him so often or clean up poop off my kitchen floor.

  3. Oh man, hate it when that happens!! I honestly have tried every kind of diaper, and the one I've thought was the most dependable is Huggies. Way less blow outs then any other kind. And when they're moving a lot, I get the Huggies Little Movers. And I always get coupons off their website. BONUS!

  4. I was always a Pampers Mom myself. I would never buy them without coupons. As a added bonus you could enter your diaper & wipe points on their website and get lots of cute things free. I have a nice collection of Melissa & Doug puzzles from them:)

  5. Haha Shelby had "blowouts" with in her diapers every single time she went #2! I don't know if you breastfeed, but I did and it makes their poo runnier so it was always a mess. Oh and she waited until I put her in the carseat to do the deed which always made a mess. I had to start putting towels down! BTW your little boy is a doll!! He eyes are soo gorgeous!

  7. I am a Modern Cloth Diapering Momma! I love my FuzziBunz and GroVia Diapers! We have not had any issues with poo-plosions or rashes while using cloth. I used disposables on first two children and on my 3rd when she was first born. After switching to cloth, I won't go back!! Trust me when I say, modern cloth diapering is nothing like what our mothers and grandmothers had to use.

  8. Oooh do I have a solution for you! Our daughter and son were waking up every night soaking wet because their diapers weren't able to hold their pee all night. One day we went to Babies R Us and saw these diaper inserts by Select Kids. They're basically like pads without the adhesive backing that you put in the diaper to boost absorption. They work magic!! They sell them online here for $20 for 180 http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3844600 but we always buy the packs in the store for $3.50 for 30. I haven't seen them anywhere else, I don't know what I'd do without them! Hope that helps!

  10. I tried to use pampers for my boys and they just didn't work so well but all my kids are Huggies. I get through Amazon and do the Amazon Mom's thing (you get 15% off) plus do the Subscribe and Save (another 15% off) to save a total of 30% off. Hope that helps! And hope you don't have that kind of blow out anymore!

  11. Oh my goodness, I don't miss those baby diaper changes. Though toddler diapers are a WHOLE other story - I need to get my girl potty trained ;). Anyway, I tried EVERY brand of diaper and I'm a Pamper's snob. It was a hard pill to swallow because there are very few things that I'm particular about the brand, but after all those blow outs I knew we had to stick with pampers.

  12. When I am not cloth diapering (which seriously helps on the blow outs) I use Pampers Baby Dry or Cruisers. I save the points too for free scrapbook layouts and pictures. I can only think of a few incidences of blow outs (and NONE this bad) with my boys in two years. Could be the difference in babies... or dipes?

  13. Yikes!!! I've had to change quite a few of those blowouts, including ones that go all the way up the back. I prefer Pampers, but I also buy Huggies because they fit my son well and I like the wide tabs. I like Pampers at night and Huggies during the day. Does he need to go up a size? I noticed my son had more leakage when he was getting close to the weight limit.

  14. Pampers all the way! Cruisers are the best - worked great for 3 kids

  15. I'm a Huggie fan!! ONLY when I get them really cheap thru Amazon though. As far as cheaper diapers that are still good...Kirkland is good but I LOVE Target's UP & Up brand diapers!!
