Disney

Disneyland was a blast to say the least. We could not stop smiling the whole time. We went to California Adventure the first day. The Aladdin show there is amazing, the World of color show was truly magic and the rides were awesome. We got there about when it opened and stayed tell they kicked people out. The next two days we went to Disney. I felt like a little kid but as much fun as I had I think Jayson had more. I lost track of how many times we rode space mountain. I got just as excited to see the princess as I think the little girls around me. We got drenched on Splash Mountain. Poor Jayson was dripping wet. My hair also suffered for it. We stayed as long as we could and then went home to our babies. I feel slightly bad for leaving them at home but that time with Jayson was wonderful. We both want to take the kids back soon. We kept catching ourselves saying things like "Ty would love this" "Ember would look so cute in that" We wanted to buy them everything there. So someday we will take them and have a blast.

One of my favorite moments while there was when we were standing in line for what seemed like ten minutes or more. We were waiting to watch the Tiki show...standing there complaining on how slow the line was moving when Jayson looks at me then smiles and says "um, were in line for pineapple juice". I look around the corner and started to laugh. We had no idea... but the Tiki show is in almost the same spot however there was no line for the Tiki show. Instead there are nice benches for you to sit and wait to be taken into the room. We laughed and laughed but I was excited to see the birds and maybe even pet one. The show started and there were singing stuffed birds everywhere. I started to laugh again about how wrong I was about the show. I had it in my head that I was going to see real birds and walk around and pet them. With that being said it was nice to sit and relax our aching feet and watch those singing birds. They did put on quite a show.

Small Style

Spring is here. Well it comes and goes. We actually have about four inches of snow on the ground tonight. eekk (sad face). However this past week the kids spent a few days with my parents while Jayson and I went to Disneyland and in Logandale its always sunny :) Ty was able to run around in his diaper. I always said I would never be that mom who would let her kids run around half naked. I have now learned that you have to pick your battles. Plus Ty can take them off himself and the more I try to ask him to put them on the funnier he thinks it is to take them off.

Ty insists on wearing his Buzz shirt as often as possible. He absolutely hates when it time to put pajamas on. I am torn on thinking its incredibly adorable and frustrating.

Tys spring attire will most likely be *Buzz shirt *Diaper *Otterpops

It may be time to put this shirt away. I had Ember in it at church and when I went to pick her up I heard a snap snap.. her onesie had popped open and it became a belly shirt. So I just tucked it into her skirt and giggled. I don't know why I tried to squeeze those rolls into a six month onesie when she is wearing mainly  twelve month clothes now. O how I LOVE those rolls. I think they are the most darling thing in the world.

I love you

Co-hosting today for My Husband Rocks
 hosted by The Growing Tree

The first "I Love You"

Jayson and I did everything a bit fast and in our own way. We told each other "I love you" quick, but our love story was very fast. For us it was "love" at first site. Cheesy? Yes... True? Yes...

We told each other with in a week of dating. But I honestly knew I loved him on our second date.

Three years later. . and we are "I love you fools". I say it probably fifty times a day. The moment we wake up I am telling him, texting it to him at work and trying to do the simple things to show him all day.

My most favorite thing in the world and probably the sweetest thing...Is that moment when we are in the same room...doing our own thing...not really paying attention to one another...then our eyes meet and we give the half smile. I get the look from him...That look that just says "hey I love you". We both know it. My heart fills up with joy and peace knowing he is mine forever and knowing that he loves me as much as I love him.
