I have a handsome hubby and three darling littles. I love to create pretty things and make yummy food. In this blog you will probably find a little of everything.
I was able to fly down to watch my baby sister graduate a few weeks ago. It was such a quick trip it just made me miss everyone more. Luckily after her graduation I was able to bring her back with me for a couple days.
Isn't she the prettiest math teacher you have ever seen?!
The kids and I miss her so bad now but it was so much fun showing her around Colorado. Love you lil bit!!
I have to say I am a bit excited about my Elsa and Anna inspired dolls. I will be having a big giveaway to kick start the sale of these sweeties tonight!!! Follow me at @sew_darling on IG for more details.
After the giveaway they will be $30 for one or $50 for the set!
These little darlings were sewed with durability in mind. Triple stitched through the arms, legs and hair. They should hold up through lots and lots and lots of dolly love. Skirts and Annas cape come off for play dress up time. They are 15" tall and stuffed firm with pollyfill.
Ty had play group today! SOOO FUN:) We try and do a craft and a little lesson. Then they run and play for an hour. Today we made jelly fish. I let them scribble all over the paper bags and put the glue down for them eyes. Then I cut the bag with decorative scissors. Simple, cute and fun!
So this guy. . He is kinda a big deal in my life. I am absolutely 100% head over heals in love with this guy. You know when you are dating and get those butterflies.... remember them? I do. I do because this guy makes me smile. He makes me fall more in love with him each day. Sometimes we drive each other nuts but there is nobody in this world I would rather fall asleep to each night and wake up to every morning. I love you babe. Even if you wont read this for a month. I hope you know that you are my rock. My better half and I am so happy and feel blessed that I get to spend eternity with you!
Happy birthday babe.
** Ty put on the candles. They were suppose to spell out Happy Birthday.... but this was way better!
A few sweethearts enjoying their Sew Darling dolls for Easter. I have been feeling very blessed and grateful for all the support and love I have received. Thank you so much to all of you for your sweet words of encouragement. Starting your own shop is scary and exciting all at once. It definitely makes it a lot easier with friends and family behind you! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Yes, Ty is potty trained.. !! YAY he is doing so well. We celebrated with Mc Donald's. Great Grandma Shirley sent up a gift card and told us to use it when he was ready!! So we did! I have this massive problem...No seriously I do. I can't stop rearranging our furniture. I am out of control. I have to vacuum under the couch often and when I do I move the couches around and end up getting an idea of what I might like.. One day I will find the perfect spot for everything. Plus the kids love the change. .
Mom came to visit. We had a blast and I miss her terribly. You could say she is my best friend! I think the kids might miss her a little too;)
We watchedLDS conference. So perfect and much needed spiritual uplift.
Missing the family means a lot of facetime... Even for the babies.
Park dates and selfies...
Feeling blessed with the love and support I have received from friends, family and strangers with my new shop! It has been a dream of mine to create this for years. I have had the name picked out and everything just waiting for the courage to do it...

What I needed to hear. The push that changed my heart.
I absolutely melt over these mermaid dolls. Everything about them is adorable to me. The size, bright colors and soft cuddliness. They are 16 inches in height and generously stuffed with pollyfill. They were triple stitched through the arms and tail for the extra dolly love
from little girls. Their faces, shells and flowers are all hand
stitched with bright sewing floss. All made with love and ready for a new home.
I only have four left (in the above picture) sewn and ready to be mailed out for Easter.
