Easter

Jays and I were so excited for Easter this year! Thinking Ty would love the egg hunt:) ....and we were right! He LOVED IT!
He was a little more interested in what was in the eggs than finding them. Ty is a bit of a chocolate lover!

I made him a color book for Easter.
Its actually not finished yet, it needs to be bound together....So this weekend when we go to Logandale I will have mom finish it up for me!

He got LOTS of books!!!

The boys played washers...Jayson totally kicked butt...

Then we finished out the day with some ICE CREAM!!

Ty's heaven

Lately all Ty wants to do is look at books. (I love this) He picks them up and runs them over to me...We look at the pictures and read, then he goes and grabs another one.

Our book collection is not that impressive yet...So we thought we would see how he liked the library...
He was seriously so excited! We got to the children's section and he starts waving his hands and whistling (like he always does when excited). I took him out of the stroller and let him free...He immediately  went to grab a book!
Then he found the puzzles and was amazed with them for awhile. He would try and try tell he would finally get one piece right!
I think the Library was a huge success and will be visiting again often!!

19 weeks.. ITS A........

That's RIGHT! Well actually by the time I got around to doing this post I am now 20 weeks!

Baby is about half way cooked in my oven..and YES...it's A GIRL!!

When I married into Jayson's family and we soon had Ty I thought I would be the mom with five rowdie boys running around...all playing sports.

When we went in for our 18 week ultrasound the tech said "IT'S DEFINITELY NOT A BOY." I was in shock!! I made her show me different angels and how she knew it was a girl. I was so excited with the news I started crying in the chair!

We left and I went to buy her something. (We have NO girl anything) I wanted something in the house pink for her. I ended up getting a few cute onesies with a skirt and some pink baskets for her room.

LATER that day my doctor calls...(Me still being on cloud 9 at this point) and he says "We need you to go down to St. George and see a specialist, something may be wrong with one of her kidneys." I started to panic with my mind running in a million different directions. I thought about my sweet little baby and the possibility of something being wrong.

We went in to the ultrasound on Thursday and our new appointment to see the specialist was not tell Tuesday. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep that weekend.

We went down Tuesday and the specialist looked and looked, NOT finding anything wrong with her kidneys:) He assured us we had one healthy little baby, and the original picture they had of her kidney was dark and blurry.

HUGE relief, I'm pretty sure I cried in that appointment as well.

I feel so blessed. I know my Heavenly Father is looking after me and my family. I thank him every day that my babies...Ty and baby girl, are healthy. I can't wait to be a mommy again and am so happy to have a boy, and a girl coming soon. Ty is my whole world and I know I will love baby girl just as much! I can't wait to hold her in my arms and watch her grow!
